Space for Nature

This series was born in response to a call for action on World Environment Day: to explore how abandoned waste pollutes, scars, and reclaims the landscapes we live in. The photographs highlight both the damage inflicted by human negligence and the resilience of nature reclaiming its space. My aim was to portray this contrast through small yet powerful fragments of everyday landscapes.

This photograph was selected for the international open call "Roma Fotografia: Environment 2024", and exhibited across multiple venues in Rome, Italy - including the Museo di Roma in Trastevere and Museo delle Civiltà - as part of a collective visual reflection on the environment and climate change.
